Dr. Daniel Rowland is the new Assistant Professor of Low Brass and Instrumental Music Education at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. At UWP, he will teach applied tuba, euphonium, and trombone; instrumental music education; and low brass methods. In addition, he will be a member of the faculty group Ensemble Nouveau. Previously, Dr. Rowland was Lecturer of Tuba/Euphonium at Valdosta State University and was principal tubist of several regional orchestras. Dr. Rowland received degrees from Florida State University, University of Northern Iowa, and Millikin University.
